Open Position: Bat-gate Construction Analyst
Job Purpose:
Provide accounting and construction services for closing mines and caves to the public while providing habitat for bats.
Duties:
-- Provide guidelines for pricing of materials, labor , transportation and other billable factors used in contracting for mine and cave closures.
-- Analyze time and material expenditures on each mine or cave closure. Provide detailed reports on each projects costs.
-- Participate in building mine and gate closures as required.
Minimum training required:
-- Certification as a miner. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) form 5000-23 Certificate of Training required.
-- American Red Cross certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid.
Minimum experience required:
-- One year experience in accounting.
-- Experience as an employee or volunteer in construction of bat-compatible mine closures.
-- Experience in SMAW and MIG welding of mild and stainless steel. Certification not required.
Pay:
Pay and benefits will be commensurate with education and experience.
